Probably went into your moving crate. Double click house sign > customize > relocate moving crate and a crate containing the missing items should appear next to you.

Just buy in Trammel and throw 80% of it away, it'll cost the same as shopping in Fel with faction pricing.

UOS has a scavenger agent in the "Agents" tab. As for the butcher's war cleaver recipe, I'm pretty sure any Heartwood quest that rewards you with a craftsman's satchel has a chance to have that recipe. It's mostly a matter of doing the quests that are cheapest/fastest and just doing a ton ...
