2/5 is faster because macros/queued targets are faster.Its not because of the game mechanic.
Overcasting will happen to 2/5 if you hold one key down and get disrupted.Furthermore,2/5 will be worse than 2/6 if fixing this overcasting penalty.

Fixing this will solve 2/5 problem. 2/5 is faster because you can continue using the uos managed casting macros and have no overcasting issue.After fixing this,once you are disrupted,holding the macro key down will simply produce overcasting and screw you up. Actually 2/5 will make overcasting worse...

Weavers are still preferable in spawns.They can defend themselves better if PvP occurs.
Most important thing is they are much cheaper to suit up than samps.

My guildmates say the captcha system is not automatic right now.It seems Gms throw the captcha at you manually:D
And now you have 2 minutes to react to the captcha.It was 1 minute before.Much better now,I think.

In my humble opinion,its not the casting but UOS changes and the captcha system which lead to the current online population drop.It looks hard for pvmers to adapt to so many changes at one time. Pvp activities did increase for weeks after the casting went fel wide.Maybe it looks less active now,but ...

It seems that PvP on OSI doesn't need para blow a lot.There are splintering weapons to slow ppl down.It may be why OSI leaves trapped crates alone.

After the casting change,PvP is more active.Old guys come back.New faces appear on fields.
Online population is down mainly because of capcha system and uos changes.This do affect pvm a lot.

Maybe I missed something but I didn't see it in any patch note. The Injournal and Hits/Diffhits functions of UOS have been limited.Both are for PvP purpose.The former is to ban target share,while the latter is to remove auto crossheal. They shouldn't affect pvm a lot.Pvm rarely needs to scan player...
