UOG: Demise

Hi guys. New player here....

I have been searching all over the web (not just here) and just can't find the answer.

The closest I got was "100 Necro to maintain Embrace".

But when I read the spell it reads "Lasts till cast again or death".

Why is it Sampire runs 100 necro, and not just something just high enough, to reach 99 with gear swaps?

In my ignorance, it feels like those 100 points could be used else where....

You could do 99, but if you remove the gear and your skill changes you will be kicked out of vamp form. Say for instance you have 79 pure skill and equipped midnight bracers for 20 skill points. If you remove the bracers and your skill goes back to 79 you will lose your vamp form. GL HF!

P.S. there are no dumb questions.

any sampires reading this, I have a PLETHORA of daisho, 3 mod, many for samp or whammy...They can be free to new plays...hmu
