Um, I don't think your jehovah's witnesses are up to date with the watch tower or the bible students of their local hall haven't been studying the watch tower publications enough. :lol:

He also served in WWII, but he was too uncoordinated to be in regular infantry, so they sent him to the unit that made the biweekly newsreels that were shown to servicemen. Regular newsreels were boring, but the soldiers paid better attention to cartoons, so they started adding animation to the newsreels. So he spent the war making military training cartoons with Chuck Jones, who was working with the unit as a civilian.

ON THIS DATE IN 1936:

A violent tornado moved through Tupelo, MS killing 216… the fourth-deadliest tornado in United States history. Among the survivors were 1-year-old Elvis Presley and his mother, Gladys. His father, Vernon, was out of town looking for work at the time.
