Stay safe - stay home!

Hey guys,

you may call it anyway you want, the numbers are telling their own story:

So personally, I have the supplies and means to largely stay at home, and do groceries for the elderly neighbors in their place to keep them safe.
We'll see this through, but we need to know what everyone of us can contribute to contain this invisible f$cker.

Best,

GK

Play it smart... good hygiene and limit your social interactions will be enough for most but yes if you have elderly neighbors please think of them and help them if you can.

lol the guy on the news just said

(context: "it seems the same number of people have recovered as have died, they are about neck a neck")

"so it seems when you catch corona virus, you either live and recover, or you die!"

just wondering what 3rd possible option he had in mind...?

Well Trump said....

“ People are dying. People who have never died before are dying “

I guess he isn’t wrong

If you want to get technical about it you can die multiple times. For example, time of death is noted as being when the heart stops. Yet, if CPR is performed a heart can beat again. I don't think this is what Trump meant, though.

a friend was just cured of Corona.
Her advice in a nutshell:
* Corona is an asshole - don't take it lightly. You could get infected by passers-by.
* Stay Home! Stay away from people!
* Moral assistance is important
* Avoid pneumonia! Take precautionary medics! In her case, she was treated with cortison

isn't it just basically flu mixed with pneumonia?

so as infectious as flu, but potentially deadly symptoms like pneumonia.

do we ever really get rid of it? because some viruses you cant kill, like the common cold. you can only supress them. but if that's the case wont it just keep coming back whenever your immune system is weak, like when you get older. until it eventually does prove fatal?

i think it's just going to lower the average life span of people tbh. but tbh im not that worried.. there's too many humans anyway, a lot are aging and blocking the next generation out of higher up job positions and stuff, like look at prince charles - he never got to be king because his mother lives until like 1,000 years old. by which time he is going to be 970 odd, and not really able to take the position.

plus like the retirement ages are based on the life span, so people should retire earlier and stuff... it sux that people are getting ill and stuff, but on a big picture scale it's not that bad of a thing imo
