That is a good question. Unfortunately, we'll never know. Furthermore, does the rest of the sea creatures think of swimming as flying. Then, you have to ask do land animals perceive birds as flying.

only in a nuptual sense.

depends if it's voluntary.

because both extremes are unhealthy.
