orc brute talisman

The orc brute does not function correctly. Orc brute is supposed to swing/attack the enemy you are attacking. it is supposed to swing when you swing. It does not function that way here. in fact it does not attack anything or anyone...it mostly just follows you around and does nothing......it needs to be fixed as it does allow other pvp and pvm templates to be viable.

It will only swing/attack after you hit the enemy.......... sometimes

If you miss it will not swing
Even if you swing and hit your target there is not a 100% chance it will hit the target

I guess you may be right though ............

1- it won't recall with you and recalling and then logging out and back in does not work like a pet you lose the Brute
2- it won't keep up with you if you run or are mounted
3- you can't give it commands
4- whatever template you build around it is void until the talisman is fully charged if you were to lose the Brute
5- talisman must always be equipped to keep the Brute
6- talisman must always be equipped to recharge it though a different character can equip it to charge it
7- lose connection lose the Brute
8- I am not 100% sure about this but it must be no further than 2 tiles from your target for it to have a chance to hit the target if you hit the target
9- they don't defend you. They will let the target hit you all day long
10- using ranged weapons or casting spells from a distance doesn't give you any benefit of having the Brute, it will not go to the target and hit the target.
11- they disappear after 10 minutes leaving you with a 20 minute cool down again unless you have another talisman which again is only good for 10 minutes.
12- if you remove the talisman while it is recharging the recharge timer starts over from 18000 seconds
13- they do not spawn with their max stamina/dexterity or max combat skills wrestling and tactics are in the low 90's. Resisting spells is at about 20. Nothing else
14- even if you were to have the Brute in the proper position to attack a target it will not attack the target if you are using spells
15- they can not be summoned in all dungeons such as Blood Dungeon or all champ spawns such as Lord Oaks in Spirituality. I'm pretty sure you can not summon them on the Ilshenar facet



They do have their 10 minute advantages

1-they hide/inviz when you do (but they do not stealth)
2- spawn does not attack them
3- 100% physical damage
4- they take up 1 follower slot
5- while equipped the talisman gives you a random monster protection and +5 Resisting Spells and +7 Anatomy
6-in Felucca they will block monsters from getting to you and causing melee damage. Monster AI is better on OSI so the creature will go around eventually
