A little bird told me that there is supposed to be no wait timer in between compassion quests.

As far as I know there was/is.

If you tried New Haven, it is a whole diff. thing as they arnt giving you compassion.
to do a game of words. It it to be compasionate with the noobs and allow them to make a quick start of gold (500 each). As for prisoner, they have to respawn. Which kinda is a timer in itself.

I'm pretty sure Bama disproved this on the old forums.

No,I tried to prove that there wasn't a cool down period to do them citing how I did the escorts on Baja
I did them in the orc cave in Trammel gating them to cities in Felucca
By the time you went back through the gate to the orc cave there was another prisoner there and you were able to gate them right away. I think there was another prisoner in Despise's upper level but that prisoner sometimes wanted to be taken to other dungeons

But anyway when Eos went to check there was no longer a prisoner in the orc cave and by that time Despise on OSI had already been revamped so no prisoner there either

So no proof no change though that was the way I did it on OSI



In this case Eos is the one that lacks compassion

There is no waiting period between finishing a rescue escort and accepting another one.

As a minor note, there is a five minute time limit (lowered from 15 minutes on June 29, 2000) between escort quests.

Prisoners found in NPC brigand camps and the orc dungeon used to be available for immediate rescue, but this was changed to the standard 5 minute timer in late 2010.
