Is there anyway of dying the elven deeded furniture like the ornate chest? I tried dying the deed and tried dying it after it was placed, and you cant dye wood...so is there anyway?
NM: uoguide says it retains the color of the wood used...

I find this quite entertaining.

furniture dye tub should be enough, but I think you cant manage to use it if your account is new. If that's your case, let me know what you need to paint and I will gladly help you out.

I can use a furniture tub. But I tried it and it wont work. The ornate chest I placed comes in deed form...I need to know how do I dye it when it comes in deed form?

I think the only way to make it a color is to use different kind of wood when making the deed. Depending on which wood you use would depend on which color it is when crafted.
