So according to UOGuide and this chart if you use an ash saw you should get a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 3 properties yes?
Or am I reading that chart incorrectly?

They are not weapons (but they should be mace fighting weapons along with rolling pins and frying pans)
So why can they be crafted with weapon skills?
Wrestling should work but the other weapon skills don't
It is a waste of a property

When you use frost wood to craft these things you get spell channeling as a free property right or does it count against your MIN of 2 and MAX of 3 properties when you use an ash saw?

Ash saw using plain wood gives you either 2 or 3 properties
Ash saw using frost wood gives you either 2 or 3 properties plus the free spell channeling property making it either 3 or 4 properties

So
Is spell channeling considered 1 or 2 properties?

Spell channel is 1 property. Getting fc +1 is also a property. To get sc-0 u need to roll sc and fc1. Sc-0 counts as 2 properties.

Also strats, they are saying you need to use a hw saw to get 15 skill. As its the only way to get 100% intensity.
