i cant see anything wrong with you putting that gold back into the economy. even if you must be forced to.
imo, gold hoarding is a problem, we should not be accommodating them more, or encourage people to do it.

Sounds like he is trying to put the gold back into the economy he just wants to buy big ticket items and cant because the gold system was made for a game where farming 1 mil took months. Hence why they changed the gold system on OSI. Because 124kk just wasnt enough to buy most items anymore.

If that had been the reason, they would only have to introduce 10 or 100 mio checks and no new system.
Or a "book of checks" like the Scrolls Of Alacrity Book.

But without a way to merge cheques, you would be limited to 125x60000 (7.5mil), the maximum you could store in your bankbox.

You can't, in the client 2 bytes of data is used for the stack amount, making the maximum 65535 (all 1's for 16bits).
