I don't see why not? All sacrifice requires is using for fame to banish a monster. Reds have fame.

Reds can't use the virtue menu at all...

The only virtue beneficial to red chars was compassion (don't know if it's fixed), it does not require virtue menu to gain it and the bonus is passive.
Regarding red player self resurrection - gift of life is your only option.
