Long term murders

Could anyone tell me how long takes to wash 1 long term kill? UOGuide says 40 hours, but i feels like its not accurate to UOGdemise, cause there was info on old forum, something like 12 (or less) for short term and 24 for long term. Thanks!

40 hours play time. If you log your character off it doesn't countdown.

Hi wangmerc,

In order to start lowering your Murder Long Term, you have to clear out all the Short Term!

It require:
- 8 Hours of game play to reduce by 1 Short Term.
- 40 Hours of game play to reduce by 1 Long Term.

If you acquire 5 or more long-term murder counts you become "red".

You can find your Character Murder Count by saying:
I must consider my sins

According on my current experience I can say for sure they are cleaning both at the same time, for week with on and off, i'm done with 8+ short term and 2 or 3 long term kills
