egg hunt

new to this, are the eggs in dungeons or anywhere on the map. example: if I just start running across the map through the wilderness will there be eggs to find or do I need to be in a town or dungeon

I know i have found 2 in dungeons (havent looked much elsewhere) but i think it's anywhere. Not 100% sure though.

I've found them in area of more interest rather than just out in the middle of the woods somewhere. Like Savage camps or brigand camps, grimswind ruins, shrines, dungeons, etc. I suppose they could be out in the middle of nowhere, but I think it would be very unlikely to find.

Pretty sure its anywhere, last year I think I ran into a couple in the wild. From what I remember, they put more in dungeons since that is where most people look first, might be wrong about it though, just going off common sense, they are all probably empty by now, so probably shouldnt even waste your time looking through them.

i found like 8 so far, 3 empty, 1 with a poop like the ones i got last night, then a red ladybird, a green ladybird, a bronze gift token, and.... a pen of wisdom :D
