I'm not saying your memory of OSI is completely false. I'm sure your template was great there, but your problem here is most likely not related to champion spawn difficulty. There are a lot of subtle differences, like mana leeching and casting, that may add up to a completely different experience for your playstyle.

There is so much more things that could make ppl happy (for Example area inside castle where we could LOCK things), instead of bitching for 243234 months about spawns.
When me and my friends started here we just go to LL and do spawns there - hide when raided to have chance for replica. And that was it, slowly slowly to the wealth. No u can just go and buy all replicas and scrolls and gather wealth afk (HW, blood farms, demon farms etc)
