oh i dont remember, wont have been anything really, they just looked for an excuse to lock people up.
that's how it was with xav in charge, very cliquey, it was basically barcode bullying people off the server, but with the support of the gms.

i always walked a fine line and never actually broke any rules, so they would lock me up for stupid shit

probably made an unsanctioned joke or something. off to the gulag!

it's funny now, but it really did suck at the time. great if you were in 'the guild', but everyone else could get stuffed as far as the admins went. as far as i know, xav literally banned all the chinese players because they could challenge barcode for fel.

chinese pop. is still recovering from that.

xavier pretty much single handedly killed half of demise's player base with all this shit.
(if you think like *all* the chinese, who had a whole separate forum and that, all the people that left from when he changed house falls from 3 months to 2 and didn't tell anyone, then all the people directly banned for arguing with them and things.. it's a lot of people :/ )

I believe they were banned for using proxy's. It helped their ping/latency. Being in the guild didn't protect you. I was in barcode and in OMG... My runuo account is still banned.
