Shard Move - Downtime [Completed]

Post by Eos » September 3rd, 2017, 8:01 pm

We will be moving the Demise and Demise TC shards to new hardware in a few moments, which will cause a short period of downtime. The move will begin at 4:30 PM eastern (~30 minutes from posting this), and should not take longer than 30 minutes to complete. So, we expect the server to be up and running again by 5:00 PM eastern at the latest.

The login address will update automatically during the move, so you should not have to change anything in your assistant. If you are having trouble connecting, you may try connecting explicitly using the new server address (which will be 18.220.198.43, port 2593).

We will update this thread once the move has been completed. :)

The server will remain in the same location with the same host, we're just switching hardware. :)

When I try to log on to the game, it just hangs on "verifying account" ? Why won't it work? I was just on before the big change.

My ping is actually better! But we'll see how different it is when I'm back on the West Coast. :P
