UOG: Demise

We have decided to have a long overdue look at people who are exceeding the account limit of 4 per household and have banned many accounts. Some of you may be affected by this and are wondering why. It could be you have used a proxy without our consent or visited a friend's house to play, and we will look at unbanning some accounts that have been affected upon request on a case by case basis.

We will continue this process over the next few weeks.

If you have been affected and wish to discuss this with us please pm either me or Selene here on the forums.

and about the server crashes? Are you guys working for fix it? LoL.
I think it's a bit late to solve this, several people have abused this "limit".

but when the player counter drops from 300 to 15 I do not want to know about crying.
Demise left only a shadow of the giant that once was.

We're still waiting for crash and teleport fixes.

Trust me there are enough legit players to keep demise open, that No one even knows exists.

Also, @Larson, how long are these bans for? Do some of us have to find new friends? Not myself, of course. I have the best friends.

We only have access to the server code not any of the settings. Only Ryan can do this.

If we can work with some people to ensure that they stick to the rules in future we will, but Some bans may be permanent, especially repeat offenders.

I hope that the attitude reaches everyone and that it does not see the favoritism to some. I played Demise for decades and I'm really tired of the partiality of the staff.

Years ago, an HZ that we all know has earned millions with a food bug and nothing has been done about it. It was the abuse of several BOT accounts for the most different functionalities, including monitoring Altars ....
So, waiting for the next episodes!
