I remember we had hight-durability items on Demise couple years ago crafted with dull-copper. And I remember it was removed for some reason and the existing items had their durability lowered to 255... but... I can not remember why, or when did it happen.

I don't care if this is added but...........

I made a Character with 50 blacksmith and crafted daggers using iron ingots
Granted I only made 17
Normal daggers had a durability in the 30's
Exceptional daggers had durability in the 40's

I think the durability bonus from the runic tool is key. You can craft a pretty high durability war fork on Demise if it's exceptional and gets a runic durability bonus, however it won't reach the maximum of 255 using iron (I believe 242 is the highest it can go). Perhaps war forks have a different base maximum durability?

How about the fact that items with durability only lose durability through melee damage Spell damage does not cause durability loss on Demise.

On OSI any type of damage has a chance to cause durability loss

Dummy heads like this is why so many inaccurate changes get pushed through.

Casting still not fixed literally difference of .025 seconds

tell me you didn't get them to put durability back on the runic roll list...?

the over 255 durability stuff was from poffing an item up to 255, then enhancing it with a material that gives a % bonus to durability...
